Season 29 Expectations

Written by Team Bells at 22:39 18/6-2014

Team Bells started in season 27. Being a newbie I dived in feet first. Sold some riders to buy equipment and Crosby Hansen, Hubert Wymore and Tor Iversen. This was initially good as the team brought home 3 results that season:

With an excellent team performance at the Waterhuizen, Westerbroek, Netherlands (25th Edition)
Crosby Hansen (2nd), Oscar Walston (8th), Oliver Fulk (9th), Earl Ross (10th), Garrick Niederhoffer (11th) and Rolf Lejeune (12th) = Earning us 20 points.

  Barysaw, Belarus (24th Edition)
Earl Ross (3rd) and Garrick Niederhoffer (5th) = Earning us 10 points.

  Beg Minsk, Belarus (24th Edition)
Crosby Hansen (3rd), Brigham Lilley (13th) = Earning us 10 points.

Season 28 saw the team sell a few more riders to help fund the purchase of Keith Fern. With only minor results I decided I needed to look at changing the approach to how the team operate. After studying the forum long and hard I sold a couple more riders along with the equipement that was bought the season before and invested that money in 3 riders: Kishor Liuni & Wayne Van Meerbeec (Hopefully will make an impact on the team immediately) and Benedikt Manstein to train up.

Along with training Benedikt, I have another couple of riders that can be trained up when I manage to max Benedikt, there will be a more thoughtful approach to Race/ Rest ratio and regular alternative jobs Iā€™m hoping to see the team develop and progress into higher leagues.

  Recent results
Astana Mini GP, Kazakhstan (47th Edition) = Crosby Hansen (15th)
Almendra, Portugal (47th Edition) = Crosby Hansen (9th)
Pas De La Casa Sprints, Andorra (44th Edition) = Keith Fern (5th) Folk Ringstrand (15th) bringing in 6 points.

As you can see from the results above the team is increasingly getting better results. Hopefully this will continue with the new approach and allow us to get the merchandise shop open.

While writing this press release I have noticed one of my top riders has a notice on him saying ready to retire how long do I have him for?

Riders don't retire on their own as far as I understand. When you release a rider who is ready to retire, they will not go to the list of hireable riders, and they will remain a part of your team's history, as well as be able to fill certain job roles for the team.
